What is different about TLC Lobsterfest 2021?
There will be no dine in service. We will be doing online ordering only with pickup at specific times you choose during the checkout process.
What safety precautions are you taking with regard to Covid-19?
There will be no dine in service and therefore no congregation of people during TLC Lobsterfest. All ordering will be online only with pickup at specific times you choose during the checkout process. The staff at TLC Lobsterfest will be following all safety guidelines outlined by the CDC. Some of these will include extra hand washing stations for staff. All staff will be required to wear masks at all times and all staff will wear gloves and hair nets while preparing, handling and cooking food. For more information please email us at wayne@tlclobsterfest.org.
When I purchase tickets through TLCLobsterfest.org, what security measures are taken to protect my personal information?
TLC Lobsterfest servers are secured by GeoTrust™ Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption certificates. TLC Lobsterfest utilizes Stripe as its credit card processing company and as such your credit card information is protected using industry standard 256 bit encryption.
In addition, TLC Lobsterfest never stores any of your financial information, such as full credit card numbers and security codes (CVV numbers). This information is encrypted throughout the process and plain text credit card and CVV numbers are never available to TLC Lobsterfest.
How can I submit payment if I am not comfortable providing credit card/financial information through your website?
Due to Covid-19 and other challenges associated with processing paper checks, TLC Lobsterfest has transitioned to a 100% paperless system with all transaction being completed through our website. We thank you in your understanding in this matter.
Can I receive a refund if I am unable to attend TLC Lobsterfest on August 7th?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds. If you are unable to attend Lobsterfest, you can giveaway your tickets, sell them or consider your purchase a 100% donation to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Why do I see the word “Stripe” on my receipt or on my credit/debit card statement?
Stripe is the credit card processing company we use to process all credit cards. They act as an intermediary between TLC Losterfest and your credit card issuing company/bank. Your credit card information is encrypted as it passes through the Stripe processing system whereby neither TLC Lobsterfest nor Stripe has access to your plain text credit card or security code numbers (CVV).
How do I confirm my payment was submitted successfully?
A receipt will automatically be emailed to the email address provided during the payment process. Please save your receipt for your records and bring with you on the day of the event. We will use your last name to confirm purchase on August 7th when you arrive to pickup your meals.
What if I lose my receipt and tickets, can I get another copy?
Please save the email from TLC Lobsterfest which contains your receipt. If by chance your misplace or lose the email from TLC Lobsterfest confirming your purchase, please email us at info@tlclobsterfest.org from the email address you used when you purchased the tickets and we will email you copies of your receipt.
Is my payment for the lobster or chicken meal tax-deductible?
Please consult with a tax professional or your accountant as to whether your payment to TLC Lobsterfest is tax deductible. Trinity Lutheran Church is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Generally speaking only the amount over the fair market value of the service you received (in this case a lobster or chicken meal) is considered tax deductible.
If during the payment process you wish to make a donation and do so by entering a donation amount in the donation section, this amount you enter and pay is tax deductible.
What comes with my lobster or chicken meal?
Each lobster meal comes with two (2) lobsters (1 to 1.25 lbs each), corn on the cob, clam chowder, baked potato, roll and butter, dessert and a drink. Each chicken meal comes with a grilled half chicken, corn on the cob, clam chowder, baked potato, roll and butter, dessert and a drink.
